Privacy
Klinky is built for personal use. Here's how we handle your data — clearly and simply.
What we store
Your account details (email, username, name, phone number, and country if you choose to add them) plus the content you create inside Klinky: Profiles, Sections, and Links.
That's basically it.
Who can see it
You.
Klinky is not a public sharing platform, and we do not sell, rent, trade, or hand your data to third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.
Admins can manage accounts (for example: invite users, suspend accounts, or delete accounts if needed), but your day-to-day content stays private to you.
Cookies, tracking, and login stuff
Klinky does not use advertising trackers or third-party marketing cookies.
For login and session functionality, Klinky stores a small amount of information in your browser's local storage so you can stay signed in securely. It's there for the app to work properly — not to track you around the internet.
Where it lives
Klinky is hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS), with data stored in Australia.
We use secure cloud infrastructure and industry-standard encryption (HTTPS) to protect your data in transit.
Also, chances are you already have plenty of data sitting on AWS right now — many of the world's largest apps, websites, and online services run there too. We just happen to use it for storing your links instead of your streaming history, shopping habits, or photos of your lunch.
Deleting your account
If you ever want your account deleted, just email us and we'll take care of it.
That includes deleting your account details and the content you created in Klinky.
